I love raising my family in the upstate of South Carolina. It's a wonderful area; it contains great people. It's where my roots are, it's where my family is, and the people of Anderson have a special spirit. Anderson is what I call a hot dog hamburger town. It's blue-collar folks that work hard, have strong faith, believe in family, community, and helping each other. So, it was just a wonderful place to grow up. My father's mother, his family, were the Sullivans, and they started a hardware business here in the late 1800s. Sullivan Hardware was a staple in Anderson. My dad was born here, raised here, and served in the state legislature. My mom was born in Greenwood, about 45 minutes away, but moved here when she married my dad. My mom was active in local politics, community, and public service, and Anderson, as a town, was always something that was a top priority and something that we were always heavily involved in. It's been a wonderful community for my children to grow up in, and I hope that they can learn the same lessons about sharing, giving, kindness, and lending a helping hand, which are basically the staples of this law firm.
When I think that a member of this community is severely injured or, after being killed as a result of corporate negligence or a drunk driver, I'm compelled to want to help that family to make sure that they understand that there is a difference, and it matters who your lawyer is. The way you do that is by connecting on a personal level with not only your client, but someone from your hometown, someone that lives next to you, someone you're going to see on a daily and weekly basis for the rest of your life. That brings a level of commitment to that client's case that I think is hard to find if you don't have that personal connection to the client. And I very much want to be that lawyer for my community so that the ripple effects from these horrible, tragic situations are minimized. Here at Pracht Injury Lawyers, we will always be there for our neighbors.
