Christopher Pracht

Christopher is a native South Carolinian born in Anderson, South Carolina. He is a 2008 Cum Laude Honor Graduate from the Charleston School of Law. In 2009, Christopher opened his law practice in Anderson, South Carolina. He specifically represents people who have suffered the loss of a loved one due to the wrong-doing of a person or corporation.

Kerrison Schmutz

Attorney At Law
Kerrison is passionate about helping others and advocating on their behalf. While at the Charleston School of Law, Kerrison gained experience as an Attorney General’s Office extern and a Charleston County Family Court intern. She advocated for neglected and abused children as a court-appointed special advocate and clerked with two Charleston-area personal injury law firms.

Elizabeth McFarland

Associate Attorney
After law school, Elizabeth began her career at a civil litigation firm focusing on design and construction law, professional negligence, and 42 U.S.C. § 1983 claims against law enforcement and other state actors. As an assistant solicitor, Elizabeth tried multiple cases to verdict, had many contested hearings, and gained invaluable courtroom experience. Elizabeth joined Thomason & Pracht LLP in 2021 as an associate attorney with a focus on personal injury law.

William Maxey

Attorney at Law
Will joined Thomason & Pracht, LLP in January 2021, where he continues to exclusively represent injured people and to vindicate their rights in courtrooms across the state. He has never represented insurance companies, and his heart has always been with regular people rather than powerful interests, both in his legal practice and in his civic involvement and advocacy.

Rasheda Robinson

Attorney at Law
Rasheda Robinson was born and raised in Anderson, South Carolina. At a very young age she began using her voice for advocacy through various speaking competitions, which became the catalyst for her aspiring to be an attorney. She attended The University of South Carolina – Columbia where she majored in Political Science with a minor in Business Administration.

Eugenia lives, works, and raises her two boys in her hometown of Anderson, SC. After graduating from Davidson College, she spent the next few years overseas teaching English and traveling. Living as a minority taught her so many lessons she still uses every day. In 2011, Eugenia began her legal career as the office manager of Christopher Pracht Lawyer, LLC. In March 2013, Thomason & Pracht, LLP was formed, and she currently serves as office manager, human resource officer, executive account director, and all-around problem-solver. At the end of the day, she recognizes the goal of the firm is to help clients through difficult transitions in their lives. In her free time, Eugenia serves on the boards of the Junior League of Anderson County and the Anderson Forum for Progressive Theology.

Laura Thorpe

Paralegal
Laura received her Paralegal Certification from the University of South Carolina and joined Thomason & Pracht, LLP in March of 2018. Laura enjoys the opportunity to serve clients when they need help navigating legal issues. Her previous experience as a healthcare administrator and educator has provided her a solid foundation in her current role at Thomason & Pracht, LLP.

Bree Sanders

Paralegal
Bree initially joined the Thomason & Pracht team in 2015 as the Domestic Paralegal to Nancy Jo Thomason. Her roles have now shifted, and her primary focus for the firm is now personal injury. Bree enjoys working closely with people and gets most of her joy from the feeling of helping people through a challenging time in their lives.

DeAnna Corless

Paralegal
DeAnna rejoined Thomason and Pracht, LLP in January 2021, having originally worked for Nancy Jo Thomason from 2007-2011 where she received her training as a Family Court Paralegal. Through the miracle of modern technology, she will be working from her home in Summerville, South Carolina. DeAnna’s primary focus will be in the area of Family Court, assisting Nancy Jo with all aspects of her Family Court and Domestic cases.

Kayla is a 2016 graduate of Anderson University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice. Her law experience includes, but is not limited to, Intellectual Property and Social Security law. Kayla joined Thomason and Pracht, LLP in March of 2021, where she will be focusing on Personal Injury. Kayla embraces the responsibility to assist clients and walk them through the process. During her free time, Kayla loves spending time on the lake with her husband and fur baby, Ember.

Melanie joined Thomason & Pracht at the beginning of August after interning in their Greenville office. She will receive her Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from USC Upstate in December of 2021, after which she plans to begin Law School in 2022. She currently works for Thomason & Pracht, LLC and Rob Ianuario, PC as a legal assistant and offers services in English and Spanish. Melanie enjoys spending time with her fur baby, Luna and her 6-month-old baby, Sophia.

Ashley was born and raised in Anderson, SC. She recently joined our personal injury team, specializing in medical records and client relations. Ashley has an immense passion for helping others and is dedicated to making sure our clients are well taken care of. In her free time, Ashley can be found spending time with her husband, one-year-old son, and fur baby, Axel.

Maddy joined Thomason & Pracht in January of 2022. She was originally an intern before being hired as a legal assistant. She will receive her Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Anderson University in May 2022. She is planning to get her Master’s Degree before going to Law School. In her spare time, Maddy enjoys spending time with friends and her puppy, Kane.

Heather Hughes

Office Manager
Heather joined the Thomason & Pracht team in 2022 and serves as the office manager. Originally from North Carolina, Heather has been a resident of Anderson County for 22 years. She is excited to have recently joined the firm and the opportunity to support her community. Heather and her husband have 4 children, 2 cats, and a Golden Retriever named Lindy. In their free time, they enjoy kayaking and spending time with family.

Audrey joined Thomason & Pracht at the beginning of January 2022 and is currently planning to further her education in Criminal Justice. She is passionate about lending a helping hand to people when they need it most. In her spare time, Audrey enjoys spending time with her family and kayaking.
